What is the VetAssist Program?

The VetAssist Program connects veterans and their families with the VA Aid and Attendance benefit. This benefit provides financial assistance to cover the cost of daily living support and in-home care.
Many veterans don’t realize they qualify — or struggle with the paperwork. That’s where All at Home steps in. We help you:

  • Understand your eligibility
  • Navigate the VA application process
  • Access care quickly (often before approval)
  • Continue receiving support long-term

Who is Eligible?

The VA Aid and Attendance benefit is available to:

  • Veterans who served at least 90 days of active duty, with 1 day during a wartime period
  • Surviving spouses of qualifying veterans
  • Individuals who meet income and asset requirements
  • Veterans or spouses who require assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, etc.)

How long does it take to get approved?
While VA approval may take several months, in many cases we can begin services right away while your application is processing.
Do I have to pay upfront?
No. If you qualify, the program often covers services with little to no out-of-pocket cost.

We’ll explore other programs to ensure you still receive support.
Can surviving spouses apply?
Yes. The Aid and Attendance benefit extends to surviving spouses of qualifying veterans.
